It was boring, dragged on and on and the ending was very predictable. Didn't like this book at all and I am amazed I had the stamina/fortitude to finish this disaster.Product details

This book was a ‘meh’ read. It had some good qualities. At times, it was creepy. Other times, it was laughable. Some of the characters lacked depth, others had sufficient depth, and even managed to be quite creepy. However, the book overall quite enjoyable, not the best, definitely not the worst. I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
Inheritance of Shadows is a mystery combined with fanatics, a small bit of romance, murder and some hero worship. Aurora Mathis is a young woman invited to attend a convention honoring her father, Charles Mathis and his writings. She wanted to learn about her late father as she never really knew him. She had gotten the invitation from Dr. Edison Lee,a man who knew her father and had ulterior motives of his own.At the convention she meets various friends and followers of her father, she also meets her former lover whom she realizes that she still cares about him.If you want a fast-paced, grabbing attention mystery than this should be your choice.

Some of the fans of Mathis take this imaginary world to serious extremes as Aurora, who never knew her father, will soon find out. Aurora takes us into this what at first seems to be glorious world in search of answers about her father and why he did what he did. At first this new world is elegant and like a fairy tale but all is not what it seems. The truth slowly reveals itself leaving Aurora in peril and confusion. Who can she trust, who are these people … and who was her dad really????
Janis has created a masterful world of suspense and mystery where around every corner lurks a new piece to the complicated puzzle. This book is a page turning adventure that is impossible to put down. Janis gives us one escalating twist after another leading up to a ending you’ll never see coming. I defiantly recommend this book to all and give Janis four stars for this outrageously addicting adventure.
